In their first ever Philadelphia area performance, Yemen Blues takes the stage and gives hope to Israel’s youth-left-behind, with their stunning melodic sound and unforgettable performance stylings. Yemen Blues is the powerful outcome of Ravid Kahalani’s musical journey from his Yemenite roots to western influences. Yemen blues is an original and fascinating cross road of traditional Yemenite melodies with the world of blues, jazz and funk. The flavors of West African roots and enhanced modern compositions are brought together to create a breathtaking experience through a mixture of beautiful complex grooves.
